The trust
The Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust is founded by 'Guru' Sri Sivananda Murthy Garu in 1982 with the objective of imparting quality education to students.
 
Establishment of " Lalitha Degree College " in 1990 made a significant beginning to achieve the goals the Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust was set up with.

Within a short span of 4 years, the college has grown and started offering PG courses and evolved as Lalitha Degree and PG College in 1994.

“CVSR College of Engineering” was established in 2002, taking the legacy of the trust to new heights and today the college is evolving as one of the best learning centers for engineers.

The year 2003 was another proud year for the trust when the “ Lalitha College of Education ” which was approved by NCTE, Bangalore was established to provide training to aspiring teachers.

Lalitha College of Pharmacy is established by the trust in 2005 at Venkatpur (Village), Ghatkesar (Mandal), Ranga Reddy District for the year 2005 – 2006 with an intake of 60 students.
